Another interesting week of photography, where variety is very much the spice of life. I had sessions ranging from an upmarket B&B lodging interior shoot, in Chichester, through to meeting the Queen. Of course I don’t flatter myself, it wasn’t the Queen, just a facsimile and an out of date one at that. Portsmouth Dockyard hosted a ‘dockyard through the ages’ weekend on the 18th and 19th of April. As part of the fun there were a number of re-enactment events and historical characters wandering around. I was photographing the ‘Fort Cumberland Guard‘ drill and weapon firing demonstration, when the young ‘Queen Victoria’, and her consort Prince Albert, arrived to inspect the troops. I also had an environment portrait session with a Court Meddle Mounter and finally, a morning of seven to eleven year old junior rugby players at a tournament in Havant.
